Here's how to copy and paste using the keyboard!

Anyone who has been dealing with computers and word processing for a long time will quickly notice that simple operations such as cutting, copying and pasting with the mouse are quite annoying. Keyboard shortcuts for such functions are useful in Windows.

This is how you can copy and paste something on Windows

As you probably already know, copy and paste options are possible with the mouse by selecting an area or a file and right-clicking to switch to a new context menu. However, this is much faster with the keyboard.
  1. As usual, select the area or the text with the mouse and mark it. If you want to copy an entire page or the entire content of a document, you can also use a key combination: Press [Ctrl] + [A] at the same time to select the entire text.
  2. Now you can copy the marked area with the key combination [Ctrl] + [C]. Alternatively, you can do this with the mouse.
  3. In order to paste everything that has been copied into another place, use the key combination [Ctrl] + [V].

With what content on the computer is this possible?

It doesn't matter whether you want to copy and paste text, images or other files with this key combination. Any operation that you could do with the mouse is equally feasible with the keyboard. So it also works with whole files, for example.
