Moudyam means in astrology what conjunction means

A methodically structured textbook by Gertrud I. Hürlimann

In astrology, aspects are understood to be the distance between the stars. They say relationships between forces. The term aspect comes from the Latin aspicio and means to look at, to look at. But angles can also be formed from planets to the top of houses. Above all, those relating to the points of the axbox AC, MC, DC, IC are essential. But a good irradiation of the between houses is not to be despised. But here lies the conflict of house theory.

The angles concern the Degrees of longitude. They are therefore sheet size on the Ecliptic measured. The distance of a star to the equator on the other hand figured as declination.

The aspect theory was already known to the Babylonians. Kepler, who by his own account received on May 16, 1571 AD at 4.37 a.m. and on December 27, afternoon at 2.30 a.m., after a pregnancy of 224 days, 9 hours, 53 minutes in Weil der Stadt, Württ. (Swabia) - and died on November 15, 1630 in Regensburg - expanded the theory of aspects. I recommend Dr. Walter Koch: Aspect theory according to Johannes Kepler.

Aspect literature for practice:
Sakoian / Acker: The great textbook of astrology;
Thomas Ring: Astrological Human Studies, Volume III, (for higher demands).

The aspect nature is not based on purely empirical research. It is taken from the position of the signs in relation to one another, is already established in the system of the signs of the zodiac and inevitably results from this.

The integral size of a character is 30 °, the next but one 60 °, the third next 90 °, the fourth next 120 °, while in opposition the distance is six characters.

The five big or main aspects are identified by the following symbols:

m Conjunction: 0 degrees or 0 characters
q Sextile: 60 degrees or 2 characters
O Square: 90 degrees or 3 characters
p Trine: 120 degrees or 4 characters
n Opposition: 180 degrees or 6 characters
It is advisable to enter the aspects in color. The color assignment for the angle designation varies from astrological school to astrological school. Most use red for voltage aspects and blue for voltage-free aspects. With Thomas Ring it is the other way around.

The following colors were chosen for the aspect drawing: red: conjunction, quadrature, opposition; blue: sextile, trine.

Aspect Finder

Help in finding the angular relationships of the stars to one another are offered by the Aspect Finder of the various astrological schools.

The interpretation of the main aspects

When two or more stars form an aspect, their influences combine. It depends on the one hand on the cosmic state of the stars and on the other hand on the angle, whether this happens in a harmonic / synthetic or dissonant / analytic way.

The aspect structure shows the distribution of tension in people, the flow of energy. It reveals the way in which actions and / or services arise or whether no effort is to be expected from the outset.

The conjunction (0 ° - 8 °)

If two planets are in the same place, they cannot form an angle. They are in conjunction or in a group. The forces that symbolize the stars are concentrated. The conjunction creates the unity of the origin and has a solar effect.

If the stars are opposite in their nature, the stronger one has the lead; this is the case, for example, when one is in its own sign.

If the encounter between The Star of Bethlehem: The three Mars (energy) and Saturn (stability), maljunctions within nine are usually perceived as stressful because the will is always kept within limits by Saturn. If the constellation affects Jupiter, Venus and / or the moon, the constellation appears to be happy.

The sextile (60 °)

Sextile connections always take place between two male or two female zodiac signs. The sextile aspect, for example, is a feature of the same psychological connectedness. It is therefore considered cheap because it does not contain any tension.

The sextile is an everlasting state. It represents a continual offering of opportunities and ideas and can be used to achieve personal goals. Sextiles can also reduce inhibitions. It is an aspect of flexibility, according to Alan Leo, energy storage for the future. Kepler describes the sextile as Venusian, H. J. Walter as Jovian.

The quadrature (90 °)

A T-square is a figure that is based on an opposition. The energies are concentrated on that planet that is half the sum of the opposition. In the example it is the sun.
In terms of the quality of the power of realization (cross scheme), the 90 ° aspect always falls into the same type of instinct. The square regulates the instinctual tension and is positive in this sense. But the drive creates an unconscious tension and acts disharmoniously until waking forms of activity such as reason and higher discipline put the drive into useful limits. This creates benefits. The quadrature shows where in this existence efforts should be made and where something needs to be worked out. If the horoscope wearer does not succeed in reducing the available tension energies in services or actions, namely in the area where they are intended, they are available for external events. It is essential which stars are in the performance aspect, which level the horoscope wearer has and in which environment he is placed. From a health point of view, critical aspects often show the place of least resistance.

Kepler evaluates the quadrature saturnin, Dr. H. J. Walter lunar.

The trine (120 °)

The trine results from an angle of 120 °: a third of a circle. A exact Trine can only fall into the same triplicity, that is: stars that "look at" each other through a trigonal glow are in a fire, earth, air or water sign. They can never mix with any other element, nor with any other polarity. There is agreement or summation of the same type of force. The trine represents a state and is considered a reward for efforts of a previous existence: a positive karma. It means effortless fulfillment in those sectors / fields where the planets shine in the trigonal glow. Too many trigons lead to indolence.

With Kepler the trine is Jovian, with H. J. Walter it is Venusian.

The opposition (180 °)

The opposition results from the division of the circle in half. It denotes an angular relationship between two stars of 180 °. The degree-exact Opposition can always only fall in signs of the same type of instinct, for example Aries-Libra: Both are masculine polarized signs that complement or condition each other based on the elements (fire and air). Nevertheless, because there are two opposing factors, the opposition represents a tension. The degree is determined by the nature of the stars involved.

If the opposition concerns the sun and moon, this primarily means that the horoscope bearer was born under a full moon.

With this opposition, relationship problems can arise; for example, conjugal (sun = man, earth = woman, moon = spiritual matters), domestic or financial. If a star throws a sextile / trine onto the opposing planets, the opposition is considered relaxed and can possibly be implemented creatively.

With Kepler and Sándor Belcsák, Vienna, the opposition is considered lunar, with H. J. Walter as mercurial.

The Orbis / Orbes / Orb

Orbis is understood to mean the broad effect, the area of effect, the limit of the aspect effect. The size or the scope is handled differently for the stars. As with field theory and the angles to be drawn in, astrologers also have separate opinions regarding the orb to be used.

In my practice, it had become clear that sensitive people would have a larger orb than those with a more robust nervous system. For this purpose I needed a photo and a handwriting sample. Before the start of the consultation, a handprint was also made, which secured my preliminary work.

Average effective circle (orb) for main aspects

Conjunction: 7–8 °, sextile 3–4 °, quadrature 5–6 °, trine 6–7 °, opposition 10 °. If the orb is further than indicated, but a star would still like to be included in the aspect picture, this is marked by a dashed - - - - - line (see the trigonal connection moon to Saturn in the drawing). According to the KBSG school, the exact 7.5 ° distance as ± to an exact angle has a Mercury grade, that is, an intellectual or nervous meaning. Due to the orb / leeway, aspects outside of the symbols responsible for the angle can form, so-called “not fully-fledged” aspects21.

The secondary or secondary aspects (orb 1–2 ° ±)

The secondary aspects of the birth picture are comparable to the secondary or subsidiary lines in the hand picture. They are not as irrelevant as they are often depicted in astrology, but underline the individual in people and, just like in the hand picture, represent difficulties, special achievements or special gifts.

The Side aspects are represented by the following symbols:

r Semi-textile 30°
t Half square 45°
v Quintile 72°
u Square and a half 135°
w Biquintile 144°
s Quinkunx 150°
The following colors were selected for the angles: green: 30 ° and 150 °, red: 45 ° and 135 °, yellow: 72 ° and 144 °.

The secondary aspects decil (36 °), nonil (40 °), septile (51 ° 26 '), bilin (75 °), trilin (105 °) and the tridecil (108 °) should be mentioned. Interested parties should contact the KBSG school or the wave model in the factory Deciphered aspect figures by J. Walter grapple. The astrology fan should only have a say in things about which he has detailed knowledge and not from hearsay.

The half-sextile (30 °)

The half-sextile corresponds to an angle of 30 °, therefore always falls into a different polarity and a different element and brings two neighboring symbols into relation. It is to be investigated whether the rulers aspire to these signs. The KSBG school works with the 30 ° system. The 7.5 °, 15 ° and 22.5 ° angles are immediately visible on your work tool.

The Huber School and Nicolaus Klein assign Mercury to the semi-sextile. Bernd A. Mertz and Peter Schlapp describe the semi-sextile as uranic. (Uranus is Mercury's higher octave).

Literature: Peter Schlapp, «The astrological half-sextile», the first evolutionary step, Astronova, Postfach 1250, D-72002 Tübingen, ISBN 3-937077-07-3.
An activated semi-sextile between the sun and Saturn, for example, can always be detected in my hand. Interestingly, only in Uranian hands. (Please refer Palm reading 10th edition, page 109, Oesch Verlag, Zurich.)

The half square (45 °)

When dividing the zodiac, the half-square takes up 1 1⁄2 signs. The 45 ° angle always connects two different elements - this results in a voltage, but does not have to fall in a different polarity. The 45 ° angle is one of the analytical aspects. Planets that are analytically related to one another offer opportunities to gain experience. There is a challenge to deal with those primal principles that form this angle, and with those matters in whose signs and fields these stars stand.

The half-square helps to increase awareness and the resulting knowledge.

According to Sándor Belcsák, the half-square has a selective character and is subordinate to Mars; in the case of H. J. Walter, the half-square is considered to be Uranian.

The quintile (72 °)

The quintile is created by dividing the circle into five and corresponds to the pentagram, the Drudenfoot or the path of Venus through the zodiac, where it declines in a 72 rhythm. Since Venus also has the 36 rhythm, in that it unfolds its greatest shine 36 days after the upper and lower conjunction with the sun, it also has something lucid-luciferic (Pluto = 36 °).

If the quintile after Parm as well as based on the research of

J. Walter has a Martian character and at the same time has Venusian elements, the 72 ° angle corresponds to a libidinal tension in the sense of ±, depending on which stars meet at the angle and their integration into the overall aspect structure. 72 squares can be used as follows: as physical performances (athletes) and tests of courage; as body stimuli (Marilyn Monroe), for artistic designs in the sense of transformation / sublimation. 72 angles can also be found in mongoloids as an excess of emotional forces and chromosomes and a lack of physical strength / assertiveness (lack of sexual gland function in mongoloids).

Unfortunately, in ignorance of what a 72 ° angle can say, it is rarely used. (Picture from Rhythms of the stars, by J. Schulz)

The one and a half square (135 °)

If an angle of 135 ° is drawn from 0 ° Aries, it falls to 15 ° Leo in the horoscope circle. Element and polarity are therefore the same. The 5th sector is a creative one. In addition, 15 ° Leo is one of the points of the golden ratio. The 135 ° angle is therefore an extremely strong one and promises talents who want to be realized. It has a harmonious effect if it falls into the same element (fire, earth, air, water) in the individual birth picture, otherwise it is more analytical to dissonant. The angle should be integrated into the aspect structure so that the energies can flow.

My research on the horoscope and hand has shown that when Mars and / or Uranus are connected at a 135 ° angle to Venus, a papillary ridge pattern forms in the palm of the hand under the ring finger (Venus finger) (see Palm reading, 10th edition, page 226).

The same pattern can also result for Venus in the half sum of Mars / Uranus. A figure is hinted at, as a third, when the same planetary principles connect at a 45 ° angle.

The 135 angle, if it falls into the same element, is an independent angle and not a compound one: a talent angle, one of the surprises, the sudden assertion, but also the excess. It has a kind of fixed star effect that can be positive or negative.

The biquintile (144 °)

It is above all the quintilian angles that correspond to the golden ratio. Kepler paid great attention to the 72 angle. Johannes Vehlow introduced the golden ratio as a means of character and fate interpretation in the Cosmobiology a. The quintile (72 °) forms one side of the pentagon, the biquintile (144 °) one side of the five-star, the pentagram. The pentagram or the Drudenfoot is the sacred symbol of the Celtic worship of the Druids.

Since the quintilian angles symbolize the quintessence of a thing, the 144th angle is often the key figure to the hidden essential structure of the horoscope wearer and to energy sources that cannot be grasped by the so-called main aspects. (Picture from Aspect theory according to Kepler)

The quincunx (150 °)

The quincunx is an aspect of 150 °. It shows the connection between two signs of different polarity and elements. There is therefore a tension with regard to the different areas that are to be brought into a synthesis. This requires a detailed analysis of those sectors / houses in which the stars are connected by the 150 ° angle. The native should primarily ask himself why primal principles take this position. He will most likely find the spiritual cause through the mirror points. The solution to any problem, but often also the problem itself, is revealed by the rulers of the quincunx planets and / or those signs that cut into the affected fields in a counter-clockwise direction.

The quincunx has a Neptune effect in the Keplerian sense. That would mean that one should try to look through the fog (Neptune) in order to then make a decision for a change, to reorient oneself instead of remaining in the old state and indulging in longing.
