What are the six regions of Alberta

Bike Kingdom regions

The Bike Kingdom extends over six regions

From Chur to the Albula valley, hundreds of kilometers of trails ensure unforgettable biking pleasure. More than 900 km of single trails are waiting to be discovered. Since every hiking trail in Graubünden can also be used by mountain bike, remote valleys as well as technical delicacies and natural single trails can also be reached.

Bear Mountains

The most powerful inhabitants of the Bike Kingdom reside in Bear Mountains. The three bears of the Arosa Bear Sanctuary are namesake for this region. Bear Mountains stretches across the entire area from Schafälpli via Arosa to Ochsenalp.

Red Peak

Rough, steep and red! These are the characteristics of the east side of Lenzerheide. Red Peak is probably the busiest region in the Bike Kingdom and thanks to the Cross Country route and the STRAIGHTline in the Bike Kingdom Park, this region includes two world championship routes.

Southern Delights

Less known but no less impressive are the Southern Delights. The beautiful larch and spruce forest at the foot of the Lenzerhorn as far as the Albula valley is known for its flowing forest trails. Many trails are already free of snow in spring.

Western Summits

With its alpine meadow trails in the higher elevations and dark forests in the lower elevations, the west side of Lenzerheide has blossomed into a true trail paradise. Western Summits includes the western flank of Piz Scalottas as well as the eastern flank in Domleschg.

Steep trees

The name is program! The brakes glow from Parpan to Chur and Tschiertschen. There are many trails hidden around Churwalden and Joch, on which the brakes want to be well dosed!

The Capital

Chur is the entry area into the Bike Kingdom. With the Alpenbikepark and Mittenberg, however, the Capital is much more than just access to Arosa and Lenzerheide. If there is still snow in the other regions, the first kilometers and meters in depth can be collected in The Capital.
